Rated as one of the Top 100 things to do in Berlin, I was extremely glad that my friends decided to spend my last Sunday in Berlin in the area of Prenzlauer Berg, where Mauerpark Flea Market happens every weekend.
The street it is located on is Eberswalder Str., Berlin, Germany, but once you are in the area, the smell of food, the sound of music and the general flow of traffic should lead you right to it!
It has everything.
Food. Music. Second hand goods. Arts. Crafts. And….. a soul of it’s own.
There is even a kind of live talent show that happens. I was lucky enough to catch it, though some of the smaller non competitive music groups scattered around were more my thing.
It is pretty well laid out, and there’s a nice food and drink area in the center so that you can shop and drink at the same time…. And probably after your 4th beer you will be ready to buy that hot pink leather racing jacket that may or may not look good once your beer goggles have come off. (No this did not happen to me)
